What does this feature do?

The dashboard, from left to right contains a graph displaying revenue, net income, and cash and a tile that displays the model’s current forecasted runway and profitability. The next row of tiles, from left to right, show customer acquisition channels and the customers brought in by channel this month, a pie chart which shows expenses breakdown, and a tile that displays the upcoming hire’s start dates, salaries, and names.

Why should I care?

The dashboard is used to take actionable insights from across multiple tabs within the model and display them in one place if the more granular and focused view that is found on each individual tab within the model is not needed.

Where can I find it?

The dashboard is its own page within the platform that can be traveled to from any page view by navigating to the Forecastr logo in the top-left corner and clicking the word “Dashboard” immediately to the right of the logo.

How should I use it?

The dashboard aggregates data from the "people" tab, "expenses" tab, and "customer acquisition" tab within the assumptions page as well as the "income statement", "balance sheet", and "cash flows" tabs within the financials page and displays it in “tiles” that can be seen along the page. The dashboard also provides the opportunity to see this data in any combination of “time horizons” by allowing you to choose a custom time horizon for each of the following tiles: revenue, net income, and cash graph, customer acquisition, or expense breakdown by selecting an available time horizon from the drop-down located in the top-right corner of those tiles where it would have been otherwise inconvenient or impossible to see this information displayed side by side with another method.
